Margarita Barbour

Teaches: Spanish

My name is Margarita Barbour. I came from Chile sixteen years ago.  In my first few years in USA, I worked as a nanny and as an assistant director of a Before and After School Program. I have experience working with children of all ages from toddlers to high school. I hold a BS in teaching English as a Foreign Language and a BA in Special Education. I am a certified Special Education and Spanish teacher in Alabama with over 8 years of combined experience as a Special Education, Spanish, and EFL teacher.                                                                            



Verónica Valero

Teaches: Spanish

Hi, my name is Veroncia Valero.  I am originally from Mexico and have a BA in teaching languages (English/Spanish) from La Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro in Mexico. During my experience teaching, I have had the opportunity to teach at Country Day School in Fairhope, Spanish Fort United Methodist Preshool, and also through the Fairhope Education Enrichment Foundation (FEEF). I have taught Spanish to children from as young as two years old and have also taught on a high school level.  I look forward to sharing my love for languages with your children!


 
Veronica Wilson

Teaches: Spanish

Hello, my name is Veronica Wilson and I am an experienced teacher who specializes in teaching all facets of the Spanish and English languages. I was born in Buenos Aires Argentina and am a native language Spanish speaker. I have worked in the Garden Grove Unified School District in Orange County, California for over 20 years, with kindergarten through 6th grade students. I also have a master's certificate in Early Childhood Development. I enjoy teaching one-to-one because I love to make a personal impact on each student and observe their development. I have the ability to make difficult concepts simple by teaching the material step by step. I know you will enjoy your tutoring time with me!


 

Kendall Brooks

¡Hola! My name is Kendall Brooks.  I am originally from Rome, GA but currently I am a graduate student at Auburn University.  I have a BA in Spanish from Auburn University and will receive my Master’s in Spanish from Auburn this coming May 2013.  I have six years of experience as a private tutor of Spanish, tutoring students who range in age from elementary to college-level, and recently have been teaching Spanish classes at Auburn University for the past two years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.  I hope your children enjoy their time in Spanish class with me!

Me llamo Kendall Brooks.  Soy de Rome, GA pero actualmente soy estudiante de posgrado en la Universidad de Auburn.  Tengo mi bachillerato en español y conseguiré un Master en español de la misma universidad este mayo.  Tengo seis años de experiencia como una tutora privada de español, dando clases privadas a estudiantes cuyas edades oscilan entre el nivel primario y universitario, y últimamente he estado enseñando clases de español en la Universidad de Auburn durante los últimos dos años.  ¡Espero que sus hijos disfruten de su tiempo conmigo en la clase de español!

Hello my name is Erika Villalobos I'm from mexico and Now I have almost 3 years living in USA . I got my degree as elementary school teacher from the universidad pedagógica nacional in Chihuahua mexico. I have long experience working with children. I worked for 14 years in elementary school in mexico. I also volunteer for one year in an elementary school in Seattle Washington. I really Love teaching children and Now I'm even moré excited since i have the opportunity to teach my language. See children interest in spanish language is really rewarding.
